A collection of large scale vessel plans dated between the years 1944 - 2005. Primarily consists of plans of cargo vessels, but includes a few bulk carriers, tankers, and barges.

Maritime History (Rare Books and ***)
A collection of classic texts on nautical education and historical treatises on marine engineering, marine transportation, maritime labor, the merchant marine and naval architecture. Including a reprint edition of Lloyd's Register, 1764-1900.
The Ship's Library
A selective collection of some 2,500 cataloged volumes, supports the college's Summer Sea Term academic program during the annual training cruise of the T.S.EMPIRE STATE VI. When the ship is under way a librarian is on board to provide service to students, officers and staff seven days a week.
