Steps to Enroll

  • Complete and submit your FAFSA (School Code 002853)

  • Submit your Statement of Intention by the date listed on your acceptance letter.

  • Accepted Student Day has been cancelled. Please keep an eye to your personal email for more information and resources regarding your next steps in the enrollment process.

  • Log into your Maritime email account upon receipt of your Statement of Intention - Please allow 2 business days from when your Statement of Intention is confirmed to complete this process. You will receive an email confirmation with additional details.

    • An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided on your application confirming receipt of your enrollment deposit. This message will include all details related to accessing your Maritime E-Mail.

    • Your username will be your first name, the first three letters of your last name, followed by a period and your incoming year. So if your name is Michelle Smith and you first enrolled in 2017, your username will be michellesmi.17@sunymaritime.edu

    • Your password will be the first initial of your first name, the first initial of your last name (both capitalized), followed by a dash, and the last five digits of your Maritime College ID. If Michelle Smith's ID is M00065789, her password would be MS-65789.

  • Access Maritime Self-Service

    • You can only access Maritime Self-Service after you have established your Maritime E-mail account.

    • You will accept your Financial Aid via Maritime Self-Service.

    • Billing information will also become available via Maritime Self-Service at the appropriate time prior to the start of each semester. 

  • Submit Health Forms

  • Accept Financial Aid via Maritime Self-Service

  • License Students:

  • Complete Housing Application or Day Student Application (if you are a Regimental student but will not be living on-campus)

  • Review degree curricula and course descriptions.

  • Log into Maritime Self-Service to register for orientation & additional courses.

  • Submit official college transcript(s) to Office of Admissions by August 3, 2020.

DEADLINES & IMPORTANT DATES - All dates are subject to change

  • August 3, 2020 - Submit any updated/final official college transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions

  • TBD - Confirm payment of full college bill, including final uniform payment and completion of optional health waiver.

  • September 4, 2020  - Regimental Students attend Indoctrination (you must have your TWIC and US Passport to begin Indoctrination)

  • August 31, 2020 - First day of 8-week online session

  • September 8, 2020  - First day of 15-week session
